the cluny abbey : founded in 910, the benedictine abbey of cluny was the world largest monastic empire of all time. The church was an exceptional architectural masterpiece. Visitors will admire the superb elevation of the transept, the cloister, the XVIIIc monastic builings, the flour tower, the wine cellar, the rampart towers, the galilee passage and the chapel.


Museum of art and archaeology : major european romanesque lapidary collection


National stud farm : you can visit the stables created in 1806 in order to provide napoleon's armies with horses. The stud has some forty horses including a number of thoroughbred stallions used for the breeding of steeple-chase horses
